The Affichem team has been built on complementary and multidisciplinary backgrounds and skills.
Affichem is closely tied in with public research by outsourcing a part of its R&D through collaborative projects with Dr. Poirot’s team: “Sterol metabolism and therapeutic innovations in oncology” (Inserm UMR 1037).
Stéphane SILVENTE
Ms, MBA - Co-founder, Chairman & CEO.
He has 13 years experience in the creation of innovative companies and their development; he founded 3 other companies in various fields of activity.
He is a graduate of the EDC Paris business school, and holds an Ms in International Negotiation and Business (University of Valenciennes), and an MBA in Technological Innovation and Marketing (ESC Toulouse).
In October 2002, he created Affichem with two public researchers and obtained several regional and national awards for his company project.
Marc POIROT
PhD - Co-inventor of Dendrogenins, Co-founder, CSO.
He has 20 years experience in anti-cancer drug research.
He is a Director of research at INSERM and head of the unit “Sterol metabolism and therapeutic innovations in oncology” (UMR 1037 CRCT - Cancer Research Center in Toulouse, France).
He has a PhD in Chemical Biology, followed by a three years visiting fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA.
Sandrine SILVENTE-POIROT
PhD - Co-inventor of Dendrogenins, Co-founder,
Head of Pharmacology Department.
She has 15 years experience in pharmacology.
Research director in the INSERM unit “Sterol metabolism and therapeutic innovations in oncology” (UMR 1037 CRCT - Cancer Research Center in Toulouse, France).
She has a PhD in molecular pharmacology, followed by a three years postdoctoral position at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA.
Philippe DE MEDINA
PhD - Co-inventor of Dendrogenins,
Head of Chemistry & Biology Department.
PhD in chemical biology . He participated in the discovery of Dendrogenins during the work for his thesis in 2004 for which he was awarded the first prize of the Gerli association in 2005.
